Framewerk are a UK electronic music duo known for an eclectic, genre-defying sound that combines deep atmosphere with a distinctly forward-thinking edge. Darren and Alec draw on a diverse range of influences, from ’70s progressive rock and ’80s electro to the UK acid house movement that shaped their early musical journeys.
The pair later joined forces as Manhattan during the progressive house era of the mid-’90s, laying the foundations for a partnership that has now spanned decades. Their years of experience, experimentation and dedication have established Framewerk as a respected presence within the global underground electronic scene.
Today, Framewerk channel their broad musical heritage into a contemporary sound that blends the spirit of electronic music’s golden eras with modern production and their own distinctive identity. Alongside their work as artists, they run the established Capital Heaven imprint, using their experience and instinct for quality music to champion fresh sounds and continue contributing to the evolution of underground electronic music.
